Abstract:
Student Affairs Policy VII-501-E discusses the eligibilty of UAB students and employees for reimbursement of vehicle expenses when personal vehicles are used on behalf of the Program Allocation Board. Instructions for acquiring reimbursement are included in this document.

DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS

 

Subject: Program Allocation Board (PAB) Vehicle Expenses

  1. UAB students and employees are eligible for the reimbursement of vehicle expenses if personal vehicles are used in conducting official and authorized business of behalf of the Program Allocation Board or any of the programs approved by the PAB.  
  2. Requests for reimbursement of vehicle expenses must be approved by the Director of Student Involvement. 
  3. To be eligible for a reimbursement, an individual must maintain a written log which includes the nature of the trip, the date and time of the trip and the beginning and ending mileage.  
  4. Reimbursements will be made at the approved State of Alabama rate per mile.
