The individual counseling component of the Women’s Center offers all currently enrolled UAB students the opportunity to receive confidential professional counseling.  The Women’s Center provides counseling for students experiencing distress in areas such as eating disorders, sexual assault, sexual harassment, major life transitions, and adjustment issues.  Clients in need of more extensive and/or comprehensive services will be referred to other agencies.
