Policy 210 – Uniform Allowance

At UAB there are certain classifications that require the use of standard uniforms. For these particular classifications where a standard uniform is required, in some cases, UAB will provide the uniform for the employee.

Uniform allowances should be discussed with the employee, reviewed by the department manager/supervisor and approved by the appropriate department head before submitting the request for payment to HR Compensation.
