About the UAB Mass Spectrometry/Proteomics Consortium

The UAB Mass Spectrometry/Proteomics Consortium offers access to a wide variety of capabilities in mass spectrometry and proteomics. The Mass Spectrometry/Proteomics (MSP) Shared Facility is a core of and is supported by the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center – it offers expertise in clinical and pre-clinical proteomics/mass spectrometry. The Targeted Metabolomics and Proteomics Laboratory (TMPL) emphasizes quantitative analysis of small molecules and selected peptides. The Biomedical FT-ICR Mass Spectrometry focuses on high resolution analysis of small and large molecules, with special expertise in the area of glycoprotein research.
