Formation of up to four 4HNE adducts was discernable, three of which were fully characterized. This is the first demonstration of an arginine adduct.

Identification of novel interactions in HIV-1 capsid protein assembly by high resolution mass spectrometry.
Journal of Molecular Biology, 325:759-772, 2003.
This piece of work concerns the folding of the capsid protein in the HIV-1 virus. A critical feature of this study was the use of high resolution FT-ICR mass spec to rapidly measure deuterium isotope enrichment in pepsin-derived capsid protein peptides.

Profiling and Quantification of Isoflavonoids in Kudzu Dietary Supplements by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography and Electrospray Ionization Tandem Mass Spectrometry.
Journal of Agricultural Food Chemistry, 51:4213-4218, 2003.
This paper explored the isoflavonoid content of dietary supplements based on the root of the Kudzu, a Japanese vine that is found covering the ground and often trees in the Deep South. The key issue was the demonstration that the principal isoflavones was puerarin, a 8-C-glucoside of daidzein. It is has a unique tandem mass spectrum compared to O-linked glucosides.
