QEP: Develop as a Blazer. Succeed on any team.

“Learning in a Team Environment” was selected as the theme of our 2015 Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) after extensive discussions with faculty, students and other stakeholders. More information can be found at the QEP website. This university-wide effort involves everyone who educates undergraduates, graduates, post-docs, interns, medical students, dental students, optometry students, and residents.

The process of developing the proposal is now in the hands of the co-facilitators Kristi Menear and Peter Anderson and the Steering Committee. As we move forward with the QEP, we will ask for your ideas, help, and information. Within the next week, you will receive a request from your dean to complete a survey about your practices and attitudes related to “teaching with teams.” These results will be very important in designing the QEP and documenting the changes that occur as a result of its implementation.

Please contact your Steering Committee representative if your have questions about the QEP or the importance of this survey. When you receive the email from your dean with a link, I hope that you will complete the survey.

Thank you,

Linda C. Lucas, Ph.D.
