Student Research Participant Guidelines
Greetings and welcome to the student research participant web page! This page contains all of the information that you need to participate in Psychology Department research and, in doing so, meet your Introductory Psychology research requirement. Specifically, it provides access to two documents.
1. One is a document that describes the Introductory Psychology Research Requirement, discusses different ways to meet it and provides guidelines for participating in psychology studies within the Psychology Department. To access this document, simply click on the “Research Requirement” link on the left hand side of this screen.
2. The other document is the Sona Psychological Research System User Guide for Participants. This document provides general information about our online Sona research system, which is used to schedule participant appointments and assign participant credits. It also provides a step-by-step description of what you need to do to participate using the Sona system. To access this document, click on the “Sona Participant Guide” link on the left hand side of this screen.
Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or concerns about participating or using the Sona system.
