Breast cancer survivors needed

Nutrition Sciences is looking for breast cancer survivors who are not regular exercisers to participate in a research project. The study evaluates the BEAT Cancer program, designed to help breast cancer survivors start and maintain an exercise program. This study includes supervised, individual exercise sessions with exercise specialists. The study is funded by the National Cancer Institute. Participants must be ages 19-70 with a history of DCIS, Stage I, II or IIIA breast cancer. For more information, call (205) 975-1247 or email  moveforward@uab.edu.
