U.S. News ranks Collat in Top 40 among part-time MBA programs

In its survey of Best Part-Time MBA Programs, "U.S. News & World Report" ranked UAB's Collat School of Business No. 39 in its 2015 Best Graduate Schools ranking. Collat’s MBA program is the highest ranking part-time program and the largest fully accredited MBA program in Alabama.

The ranking marks a significant jump for Collat, which rose to No. 39 from 73 in a single year to join the top 15 percent of part-time MBA programs nationally.

Ken Miller, EdD, director of UAB's Graduate School of Management, attributes the higher ranking to a new, innovative curriculum, which he says is more relevant to business. And, working professionals can earn an MBA in two years through evening and online classes.

The Collat MBA program is accepting applications through April 1 for students starting in the summer term and through July 1 for students starting in the fall.
