princeton review 2Its ties to local business, strong curriculum and knowledgeable faculty are among the reasons UAB's Collat School of Business was named among “The 296 Best Business Schools” by The Princeton Review in its 2015 edition.

Though The Princeton Review does not rank business schools by number, it does provide an online profile with statistical and other information about UAB’s Master of Business Administration program.

The summary notes that UAB offers a “strong curriculum” to its primarily part-time student body in an urban location with “close ties to local business” for a reasonable tuition. It quotes survey respondents generally describing professors as “knowledgeable and willing to help” and respectful of the professors’ workplace experience “that makes a huge difference because one can see that they know what they are talking about, even [down] to the specific details.”

They also note that UAB's “very diverse student body provides a unique and real-life view of the conditions that are encountered in the business world,” which “contributes to a more practical learning environment.”

UAB’s MBA program also is ranked among the nation’s top 15 percent of part-time MBA programs in the 2015 "U.S. News & World Report" list of "Best Graduate Schools."
