As the health-care industry continues to evolve, two School of Public Health professors in the Department of Health Care Organization and Policy contribute their expertise to those studying it.

Peter Ginter, Ph.D., M.B.A., and W. Jack Duncan, Ph.D., M.B.A., both Senior Scholars in the Lister Hill Center for Health Policy, released the seventh edition of their textbook Strategic Management of Health Care Organizations, written with a professor from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

The text, written more than two decades ago, is used in graduate health-administration and public health programs throughout the world. The latest edition reflects the unique strategic management processes of health-care organizations.

Ginter and Duncan share their experience gleaned through years of teaching, research and consulting to bring a wealth of insight to students, instructors and managers interested in the strategic management of health care.
