The Department of Theatre has been invited to perform its production of Charles Mee's "Big Love" as a select participating production, the highest level of competition, at the Region IV Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, to be held Feb. 4-8, at Hollins University in Roanoke, Va. The remaking of Aescheylus' "The Supplicants" is a unique collaboration between faculty and students.UAB Concert Choir to release new CDThe UAB Concert Choir will release a new CD on Jan. 28, to help fund the choir’s trip to the eighth World Choir Games in Riga, Latvia, in July. The $10 CD is available at digital outlets including iTunes, Amazon and the Department of Music’s online store.
