UAB Department of Music's Chamber Trio traveled more than 2,000 miles during a five-day tour of universities in Virginia and North Carolina in October. Associate Professor Denise Gainey, D.M.A., clarinet, and Assistant Professor James Zingara, D.M.A., trumpet, were joined by former Department of Music faculty member Dale Williams on piano. The trio performed five formal recitals and gave two master classes during the tour.
Program highlights included the world premiere performance of "Ich bin Maroon" by Associate Professor William Price, D.M.A.
