Surjith Vattoth, M.D., assistant professor of radiology received the annual Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Honored Educator Award presented to individuals who demonstrate their commitment to radiology education by delivering high-quality content. Vattoth consistently is honored by UAB students as a top radiology faculty and has been selected a top 10 department member since he joined faculty.Vattoth is an American Board of Radiology-certified radiologist, who completed his neuroradiology and nuclear medicine fellowships at UAB. He is a scientist in UAB’s Comprehensive Neuroscience Center.
