Pittet appointed to endowed professorship in anesthesiology

The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees named Jean-Francois Pittet, M.D., the first holder of the David Hill Chestnut Endowed Professorship in Anesthesiology in the School of Medicine during its meeting June 14, 2013. Pittet joined the UAB faculty in 2010 in the Division of Critical Care and Perioperative Medicine.
