Professor Arline Savage, Ph.D., has been appointed chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance in the Collat School of Business. Savage, who directs the Master of Accounting program, will begin her duties in August.
“Accounting is the third largest undergraduate program at UAB, and we have a strong tradition of producing exceptional accounting and finance students. I expect we’ll continue to lead the way under Dr. Savage’s leadership,” said Dean Eric Jack, Ph.D.
