4 ways to improve your communication skills by year’s end

speech bubblesEffective communication is fundamental to all aspects of business — from increasing productivity and team building to reducing stress in the workplace — and UAB employees identified improved communication among top priorities in the recent Campus Engagement Survey, according to Learning & Development Director Susan Coan.

“Fortunately, communications skills can be learned,” Coan said. “With intention, practice and feedback, anyone can improve their communication skills.”

UAB Learning & Development is closing out 2017 with four workshops to help employees brush up on various facets of communication.
