Each UWIRC’s membership, by definition, consists of faculty members from two or more schools and the number of supporting schools for the UWIRCs ranges from three to all UAB schools/college.  Reflecting both the scope of the centers’ interests and, to some extent, its longevity, the twenty eight UWIRCs have memberships that number from 35 to >400.
