UAB Nathan Shock Center Journal Club/Work-In-Progress

Summer 2018

The Nathan Shock Center Journal Club/Work-in-Progress in the basic biology of aging serves as a forum for faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and students in the field of aging and aging-related disorders to promote inter-disciplinary exchange of ideas and methodologies, and foster collaborations. We particularly encourage presentations by trainees. Presenters can choose one of the following:

  1. A paper of interest for the aging research community;
  2. Their own research data;
  3. Draft of a fellowship/grant application aims they are planning on submitting. This is a great opportunity to get feedback and useful critiques on their grant ideas.
