Off site locations are possible for student rotations.  The UAB Genetic Counseling program has the ability to partner with non-UAB hospitals for student training.  Affiliation agreements have been established (or are in progress) between our program and hospitals in Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Indiana, Minnesota, Georgia, Ohio,  Oregon, and Missouri.  Others are possible, and we are open to working with students and the American Board of Genetic Counseling to identify appropriate sites for student training.
