UAB_OT_webThe UAB Department of Occupational Therapy (full website) is committed to training the next generation of leaders in the field to help people of all ages and all situations to live a productive live. Through leading-edge teaching programs, our graduate program consistently ranks at the top (28th) in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in its annual "Best Graduate Schools" edition. Our students are encouraged to collaborate on innovative research while focusing on helping individuals live their lives to the fullest.

The Department of Occupational Therapy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education of the American Occupational Therapy Association.

The department offers two master programs and a low vision rehabilitation graduate certificate, the only one of its kind in the country.
