Department of Physical Therapy
Annually ranked as one of the top schools (19th) in U.S. News & World Report, the Department of Physical Therapy's (full website) graduates are acclaimed professionals who help patients overcome the effects of disease, injury and development abnormalities through the use of scientific principles in not only hospitals and clinics, but also in sports medicine, industry, consultation and research. With outstanding faculty/researchers, students learn in research laboratories focusing on clinically relevant studies of human motion and exercise physiology.
Fully accredited since 1967 by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education, the department offers an entry level degree and a doctoral degree.
