This class is for those seeking their first certification in BLS/CPR.

  • Only four hours total (2 hours lecture; 2 hours skills checkoff).
  • Classes offered monthly to fit your schedule.
  • Registration fee is $60.00.
  • Class taught in School of Health Professions Building (SHPB 324).

BLS/CPR Recertification

This class is for those seeking to renew their BLS/CPR certification.

  • Must have current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Online lectures completed at your own pace through the AHA (These must be complete before your skills checkoff and there is a separate charge for this content paid to AHA.)
  • Only two hours for skills checkoff.
  • Checkoff offered monthly to fit your schedule.
  • Checkoff fee is only $35.00.
  • Class taught in School of Health Professions Building (SHPB 324).

  • Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours prior to the registered class time.
  • Please call 205-975-8835 to cancel or to leave a message for cancellation.
  • A full refund will be provided if a class cancellation is received 24 hours before the scheduled class.
