Dr. Graham has more than 20 years of experience in physical therapy education and has held leadership positions at several institutions. She joined the physical therapy faculty at UAB in 2003 as an associate professor and director of the Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy program. She has focused her research on teaching/learning processes and outcomes in physical therapy education. Dr. Graham has authored several peer-reviewed publications and has made numerous presentations at national and international conferences. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Physical Therapy Education. Dr. Graham also serves as an on-site team leader for the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education and holds leadership positions in the Alabama chapter of the APTA.
Dr. Graham earned her doctoral degree in adult education from Texas A&M University, master degree in physical therapy from Emory University, and bachelor degree in physical therapy from The University of Texas Medical Branch.
