Jessica Hartline has been chosen to become the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging’s student representative. She is the first UAB undergraduate to be selected to represent all nuclear medicine students in the national organization.
The selections were made by the National Council of Representatives during the Society’s 2012 Annual Meeting in Miami Beach. She will serve on several national committees for the next two years. Hartline just completed her first year in the Nuclear Medicine Technology program in the Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences.
The National Council of Representatives manages the business and financial affairs of the Society. They develop and approve procedures of the Society, coordinate and monitor the activities of all organizational components and identify relevant professional issues for presentation to the Executive Board
