The BBJ says these people are “key decisionmakers, powerbrokers and leaders in the metro area.”

Susan Brouillette, CEO, Alacare Home Health & Hospice (SHP Dean’s Advisory Board ex-officio member)

Will Ferniany, Ph.D., CEO, UAB Health System (MSHA Class 9, PhD in Health-Administration Services)

Keith Granger, CEO, Grandview Medical Center (B.S. in Radiological Sciences)

Kathy Nugent, Ph.D., managing director, UAB Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (faculty member, M.S. in Biotechnology)

The BBJ says each person was “chosen based on a number of factors, including feedback from a reader survey. The goal was to choose executives who are making waves in the local business scene by virtue of their titles, their backgrounds or their standing in the community.”
