Earn CPE’s at Registered Dietitian Day

Registered dietitians will have the opportunity to commemorate their profession and earn continuing education credits at the same time. The UAB Department of Nutrition Sciences and the Dietetic Internship is offering a seminar on Tuesday, March 27 from 9 – 11 a.m. in conjunction with the Sixth Annual Registered Dietitian Day.
Keynote speaker Chad Sentell, manager of chaplain services at Samford University, will discuss, “Motivation in the real world: How we can keep our clients and ourselves going in the right direction?” Registered dietitians can earn two hours CPE’s from the Alabama Dietetic Association. The seminar will be held in the School of Health Professions Building room 226.

Registered Dietitian Day commemorates the dedication of RD’s as advocates for advancing the nutritional status of Americans and people around the world. March is also National Nutrition Month with this year’s theme, “Eat Right. Your Way. Every Day.”
