The Master of Science Degree in Health Informatics (MSHI) offers the Health Information Management (HIM) Track that provides advanced knowledge and skills necessary for credentialed practicing professionals to interact and contribute to the implementation of electronic health record (EHR) systems in health care organizations, as well as in physician practices.
The HIM Track incorporates the domains of health data management, information technology and systems and organization and management into graduate HIM and existing Health Informatics (HI) courses.
