Graduate Student Trainee
Daniella Chusyd comes to UAB from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She received her B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Florida, and subsequently went on to obtain a M.A. in Government from the IDC Herzliya in Israel, graduating with Cum Laude honors. Daniella has a multi-faceted background ranging from a professional basketball career overseas to wet lab experience to conducting elephant research in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania. Her research interests surround the mechanisms associated with different hormonal responses, as well as the dietary effects on exercise and performance. In her spare time Daniella enjoys traveling, playing basketball, photography, and is adamant about wildlife conservation.
