Nate Warren is a first-year PhD student from Fayetteville, NC. He attended Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, earning a B.S. in Nutrition & Foods (cum laude). His experiences at ASU provided him valuable skills in the areas of both dietetics and laboratory methods. Nate is ultimately interested in utilizing nutrition as a means of prevention of chronic disease, especially type II diabetes. Some of his many interests include cooking, fitness, bluegrass music, and outdoor sports.
