Patient Care

On average, approximately 2,500 patients are seen each year in nutrition sciences clinical venues. The clinics include:

• the EatRight Weight Management Program;

• inpatient nutrition consult and support services in UAB and Birmingham VAMC hospitals;

• the EatRight Nutrition Information Service

Department faculty members also provide patient care through the Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment Program and the Interdisciplinary Cancer Supportive Care Program.
