OT Entry-Level Professional Degree
Entry level program for individuals who hold or are working towards a baccalaureate degree in a field other than occupational therapy.

OT Post-Professional

Low Vision Rehabilitation
Practice-oriented certificate degree program to prepare occupational therapists to provide comprehensive, competent intervention to adults with visual impairment from age-related eye diseases and brain injury. PhD in Rehabilitation Science
Joint program offered by the Departments of Occupational and Physical Therapy to design and implement research studies that will contribute to the knowledge base of rehabilitation science.

3:2 Fast OT
The program director for the B.S. degree in Health Care Management (HCM) and the Chair of the Department of Occupational Therapy developed a Fast-Track program for the professional-level M.S. in Occupational Therapy (OT). Both programs will work together to grant admission to qualified freshmen into this Fast-Track program for students who submit competitive applications according to criteria.

Certificate in Health Focused Care PT/OT
The UAB Graduate Certificate in Health Focused Patient/Client Management for Physical and Occupational Therapists is designed to prepare PTs and OTs for expanding roles in the areas of prevention, health promotion, and wellness. Health Focused Patient/Client Management is the integration of health promotion and education methods in OT and PT practice to create a holistic approach to enhance patient/client wellness and quality of life.
