Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I am attempting to apply online. Which application do I complete?

You will use the degree option. Instructions for applying may be found on the UAB web site at

    http://www.uab.edu/son/grad_msn_app.pdf.

Please note that you may NOT submit your application online. Rather, you can download the application online and then fill it out and sign it and MAIL it to the School of Nursing at the address on the form.

  2. The packet I received states I need to complete an interview with the school of nursing. Can you tell me how I should go about completing this step? And, will I receive verification from anyone upon receipt of all my paperwork?

You will receive a letter from student affairs indicating the status of your application. When all paperwork has been received and your application accepted, you will receive a letter instructing you to contact your assigned academic advisor for an interview.
