Dr. Craig Wilson, Director of the Sparkman Center for Global Health, and his colleagues were recently published in JAMA Pediatrics. The article, co-authored by Dr. Wilson, presents implications for HIV testing strategies for young minorities MSM. The findings indicate that targeted testing strategies performed significantly better with young sexual minority males and sexual minority males of color when compared to universal screening strategies. This would suggest that community based targeted testing strategies are more effective for reaching this population.
