Events for Family Weekend are free for UAB students. However, if your student would like a Family Weekend t-shirt and tickets to off-campus events those do require purchase. UAB students receive a free football ticket which allows them to sit in the student section, if you would like your student to sit with you during the game you will need to purchase an additional ticket for $10/ticket. If you would like a t-shirt for your UAB student or a football ticket please purchase during registration.
Children under the age of 3 are free for Family Weekend costs, but a football ticket is required if they will be attending the football game against UNC-Charlotte. Tickets can be purchased for $10 as part of your family weekend registration.
- All family members are required to register for Family Weekend, however, UAB students and children under the age of 3 are free to the majority of Family Weekend events.
- Family Weekend Registration Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE after Friday, September 30, 2022.
