Kwanzaa Week Celebration takes place from Dec. 4-8!Student Multicultural and Diversity Programs’ Black Student Awareness Committee (BSAC) is proud to present a week-long celebration dedicated to the days and themes of Kwanzaa. BSAC's Kwanzaa Week Celebration will take place December 4-8 at various campus locations and will include fun, education and culturally enlightening events centered around African traditions and the "seven principles of African heritage."

Students are invited to come out and learn more about the days and values of the Kwanzaa holiday.

Scheduled events include:

Dec. 4 | “Umoja and Nia”: Movie Night - Screening of “Pride”
7 p.m. | HSC Alumni Theater

Dec. 5 | “Imani”: Liberation and Celebration
Ceremony – 4:30 p.m. | Campus Green
Celebration – 6 p.m. | HSC Ballrooms ABCD

Dec. 6 | “Ujima and Kuumba”: Black Out Day and Day of Service
6-9 p.m. | Blazer RLC

Dec. 7 | “Ujamaa”: “Blackenomics”
7 p.m. | HSC Ballrooms CD

Dec. 8 | “Kujichhagulia”: Spectrum of Blackness Discussion
7 p.m. | HHB, Room 102
