Below is a rough drawing of the new facility before changes were made to the final plans.  The new laboratory will be housed in Zeigler Hall in space formerly occupied by three surgical labs.

After numerous delays, construction proceeds at a satisfying pace.  The casework is now being installed and is expected to be complete in approximately two weeks.   Projected completion date is September 1, 1999.  While waiting for completion, we have removed all equipment to our current facility, which has become quite crowded.   We will be gaining three people in one month, so hopefully our new facility will be fully functional by then.
