The International Medicine Interest Group meets every other month to discuss international experiences residents and faculty have had. The Department sponsors a resident exchange program with Chile each year for 1 or 2 residents, in addition to providing resources for residents interested in opportunities in other countries such a Kenya and Zambia. The program allows one away month during Pediatric Residency and several of our residents participate in international medical opportunities. One of the missions of the Coat of Arms is to make international opportunities available to our residents and introduce them to ways they can serve others throughout the world!
