Partners of the Americas (POA), Alabama - Guatemala Chapter was designed to promote people-to-people partnerships between Alabama and Guatemala. The activities that the organization participates in range from health related to economic development. The organization has sponsored a graduate student to travel to Guatemala for a summer to work through the organization.
