Treasures for All Time

UAB may be only a few decades old, but it is home to centuries of history. UAB Historical Collections, which encompasses UAB Archives, Reynolds Historical Library, and the Alabama Museum of the Health Sciences, encompasses “800 or 900 years’ worth of material, from medieval books hand-printed by a monk somewhere in Europe all the way to digital image files,” says assistant professor and UAB archivist Tim Pennycuff.
