Major(s): Biomedical Engineering
Graduating: Spring 2018
Contact me if you are interested in biomedical engineering research and many opportunities with the annual research EXPO. I will do my best to help you find areas of research that you are interested in and get presentation opportunities through EXPO.
I work for the Office of Undergraduate Research since Spring 2015 and have been part of the EXPO Council for the same duration. As part of my duties as EXPO Coordinator, I represent OUR in tabling events and arrange volunteer opportunities for all students interested in helping out on this huge event. In the future, I plan to use my interest in the field of biomedical engineering in the area of prosthetics.
Fun Facts: I figure skated competitively for 10 years and I enjoy drawing as a pastime.
Advice: Take each task a step at a time. It is never good to be overwhelmed when in college. There are a lot of things going on; but if you just separate each individual task and schedule your time accordingly, you will get them done. Don’t be afraid to take it slowly. It’s always better to accomplish something with high quality than to rush everything.
