Alumni Awards
Every fall the UAB National Alumni Society presents special awards for Honorary Life Membership, Honorary Alumni, Distinguished Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni, and Volunteer of the Year.
Excellence in Business Top 25
Each year the UAB National Alumni Society identifies, recognizes, and celebrates the success of the top 25 UAB alumni-owned or UAB alumni-managed businesses.
UAB National Alumni Society Scholarship Run
For the last decade the UAB National Alumni Society Scholarship Run 5K/10K has raced through the streets of Birmingham to raise much needed scholarship money for students at UAB.
Uncork Education
The popular wine and beer tasting event features auction items, mystery box prizes, and other opportunities to help support UAB student scholarships.
UAB Homecoming
Some of the longest-standing UAB Homecoming traditions are sponsored by the NAS. Each Homecoming features the fast-paced Gurney Derby, the Mr. & Ms. UAB Scholarship competition and more.
Go Next Travel Opportunities
Throughout the year, the NAS has travel excursions for its members through GoNext. These trips include packages in the United States, Europe, and other destinations.
