Danielle Brannock

Major:  Accounting, Forensic Accounting and IT Auditing Concentration

Company:  PwC, Atlanta GA
Position:  Assurance Associate in the Data Solutions Group (Data Visualization & Analytics)

What aspect of your UAB experience helped you most in landing the job?  The faculty and staff at the Collat School of Business were instrumental to my success in obtaining a position in my desired, rather niche, career field. Many of my professors saw my love for technology and helped guide me in the direction of data analytics in public accounting. I didn't know the position existed before their guidance.  Once I decided to pursue it, my professors put me in contact with people in this specialty and provided me with additional resources on specific software and scripting languages. They have been the biggest influence in my decision to pursue this path and played a vital role in my obtaining this incredible position in the data analytics group at PwC.

George "Will" Davis

Major:  Economics

Graduate School:  Georgia State University, Atlanta GA
Position:  Economics PhD candidate

What aspect of your UAB experience helped you most in landing the job?  The most important aspect of my experience would definitely be the relationships I was able to have with certain professors. Without their help and guidance, I would not have been as successful in either my graduate school placement or preparedness.
