U.S. News & World Report ranks UAB’s MBA program among the nation’s best. The latest rankings were released March 12 in the 2020 edition of the Best Graduate Schools guidebook, available online at usnews.com.
The largest year-over-year gain saw the UAB Collat School of Business jump dramatically in the rankings for the nation’s top part-time MBA programs from No. 111 to No. 65. The UAB MBA was the highest ranked part-time MBA program in Alabama.
“We’re honored that U.S. News & World Report has recognized our outstanding MBA program, ranking UAB in the top 20 percent of part-time MBA programs in the country,” said Ken Miller, Ed.D., director of the MBA program at the Collat School of Business. “Our program provides working professionals with the flexibility they need to pursue their degree while also challenging them with rigorous coursework so they reach their full potential. Our new state-of-the art building provides an exceptional learning environment, and we also offer many online class options to help students maintain a successful work-life balance.”
The program also offers professional concentrations in marketing, health services, finance, management information systems and entrepreneurship.
The UAB MBA program is accepting applications through May 1 for students starting in the summer 2019 term and through August 1 for students starting in the fall. A 100% online program is also available, offering guaranteed seating and accelerated seven-week courses.
Each year, U.S. News ranks professional school programs in business, education, engineering, law, nursing and medicine. This year U.S. News surveyed 323 part-time MBA programs in the United States to develop the MBA ranking.
