UAB students are getting lessons in ethics this fall, through speakers teaching real situations. Professors hope the students will learn how to make moral business decisions before they're forced to actually make them, sometimes with a moment's notice.The UAB School of Business and the Department of Criminal Justice hosted HealthSouth co-founder and former CFO Aaron Beam on Thursday. Beam, who spent three months in prison after being convicted of fraudulent accounting, told the class his story to show not only why they need ethical decision-making but also how  to notice signs that a company might be heading down the wrong path.
