Employer drive inOver 40 employers were on campus July 24th, 2014 for the UAB Collat School of Business “Employer Drive-in” lunch, learning about ways to position their organization to attract highly qualified candidates for internships and post-graduation employment. Collat 315 recently acknowledged the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s online Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and online Bachelor of Science degree in management as top national online degree programs.

Sarika PatelSarika Patel, UAB Collat School of Business accounting student, was recently awarded a $10,000 scholarship by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). The PCAOB awards merit scholarships on an annual basis to outstanding accounting students enrolled in an accounting degree program at accredited U.S. colleges or universities.

The Collat School of Business launched an internal push to gain as much participation in its faculty and staff campaign as possible and, within only months of setting that goal, reached 99 percent participation.
