Andrea Thomas (she/her) is a graduate student in UAB’s Medical/Clinical psychology program working within Dr. Burel Goodin's Biobehavioral Pain Lab. Before coming to UAB, she graduated from Western Washington University with a B.S. in Psychology in 2016, and served as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the University of Washington's departments of Anesthesiology and Rehabilitation Medicine. Andrea's research interests surround chronic pain and health disparities. Her clinical interests include adult health, rehabilitation, and pain interventions. Andrea is currently an interventionist for an RCT focused on mindfulness-meditation combined with transcranial direct current stimulation in non-Hispanic black and white adults with knee osteoarthritis.
