Dr. Morgan is an associate professor of Criminal Justice and the director of the African American Studies Program. In addition, she is both the Affirmative Action and Diversity Officer for the College of Arts and Sciences.

Dr. Jamison’s research interests include Africana intellectual history, Africana social/political thought, the intellectual history and diasporic connections of Africana Psychology, the historical and psychological aspects of oppression in the African diaspora, and the psychology of race and racism. His edited book, Perspectives in African American History and Culture: An Introductory Reader, was published in 2005.
