My research is focused on understanding the genetic, metabolic, and environmental factors that influence aging and longevity.

In search of these factors, I study a myriad of species including fruit flies, companion dogs, mice, and marmosets. To understand these underlying molecular mechanisms, I analyze large metabolomics datasets. Metabolomics consists of all the small molecules of intermediate metabolism, and by they can provide novel hypotheses about the different metabolic pathways associated with age.
