My research project focuses on revealing the epigenetic landscape of melanocyte stem cells during quiescence, activation and in hair graying mouse models. To this effect, next generation sequencing techniques including CHIP-seq and ATAC-seq are employed to decipher the pioneering transcription factors and chromatin states dictating fates of the cells.
